Visitors are one step closer to visiting Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park opening on Sentosa’s Resorts World, now that ticket prices have been revealed.
Sale of tickets shouldn’t be too far on the horizon with Resorts World Sentosa announcing on Wednesday its one-day, two-day and express pass ticket prices that range from S$32 to S$118 to access all attractions.
With the announcement of the Universal Studios ticket prices, is the price reasonable to draw people there?
I think the prize is quite high for a start. Not everyone can afford the proposal prize to draw more people there. My suggestion is If can consider a reasonable family package of four or five people’s ticket prize may be better. I think the Ticket’s prize between $50 & $25 for Adult and Child is good and reasonable than as compare to the current proposal prizes at $66 for Adult and $48 for child.
Do they give tours? I’d reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally love to see the sets…
Oh… on the wikipedia page it says they shoot a lot of tv series… :S
Sorry, no tours are given. I don’t believe they even shoot anything out there that requires a studio audience, so it’s a closed lot.
Visting Floridia March 16-21. Going to Universal Studios, A Disney theme park and to a close Atlantic beach the next. Do you have any sugestions which Disney Theme park to go to and maybe a fun beach to visit. Thanks
I think you’d enjoy EPCOT the best. The Disney – MGM Studios is fun, but there’s definitely not as much to do. There’s a bunch of awesome attractions and shows at EPCOT, and the fireworks/pyrotechnics/lasers show, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is incredible! EPCOT has a really great aquarium, too! And a lot of wonderful dining options, like the Coral Reef Restaurant and Le Cellier Steakhouse.
Hope I could help! Have fun!
My friends and I are planning on going to Universal Studios on the 19th and I was wondering if the theater at City Walk will be having a midnight screening of New Moon? And if they are where is the best place to get the tickets in advance? But if they are not, any information on a theater close by Universal will be fine.
no just a midnight 1 in NYC MY HOMETOWN BABY
sorry
i just was rly excited cuz my dad works with the twilight thing
i am going there today and i was wondering which one we should spend more time at
I think Islands of Adventure is better, especially if you like thrill rides/coasters. Universal Studios has a couple of good rides and some good shows. But if you want to ride instead of watch, I recommend Islands. Be sure to ride Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park, and Spiderman.
I’m going into grade 9 and i really want to get a job at Walt Disney studios but i don’t know what courses to take. I wanted to be able to do some CGI and drawing. This would be very much a appreciated if someone could shed some light on the situation for me.
Frankly, the major studios like Disney, Pixar and others are never going to see anyone’s artwork without some educational credentials, first. These places often recruit interns and entry level artists right out of the colleges and universities.
These people get known in their academic circles, first, by showing in student shows and competitions open to college students.
You have to understand the they get job inquiries from hundreds, if not thousands of candidates every year. And from these, the studios MAY only need to fill a very small handfull of positions, if any. Those art directors are NOT going to sift through hundreds of portfolios. They don’t have the time. What they WILL do is screen for relevent education history, degrees, then professional level experiences, so that they can narrow down the field to a managable number, like, say less than a dozen.
Trust me, this screening process will NEVER reach a point where they might consider a high school student or grad. To reach this level, a degree, or an ADVANCED degree is like a minimal requirement. Not only in the major studios, but in other studios and design agencies all over the country.
Get a solid background and skill set it the traditional art forms. Work your way into the digital tools of the trade, beginning with the 2D and 3D softwares and, eventually into the animation tools. It’s not to early to start planning which COLLEGE course work you will need. With the ultimate goal of working for someone like Disney in mind, right now, focus on the prepwork that will make you oustanding in the college circles.
Here’s some information that may help you. It comes directly from the Pixar Studios site:

I am going to Los Angeles in January and want to take an organised tour as i will not have a car. Does anybody know of any good ones? I have been three times before, but my boyfriend has never been so we want to see all the touristy stuff: Hollywood sign, Universal studios, Chinese theatre, walk of fame, hollywood bowl.
Thanks
I know there are good tours out in Los Angeles cause i took one when i went there. Just go to the hotel desk where you are staying at and im sure they will have some that you could choose from. The one that i took was good, we went through hollywood and saw some famous peoples houses. We also went to Rodeo Drive and Downtown LA. Our tour let us get off the bus and walk around for lik 30 minutes at each stop so that was pretty cool. Make sure you pick a tour bus that lets you get off so you can really see the sights of LA. Have fun.
I’d like to know because I’m moving, also please include the prices a month if you know?
