yes I do mean the city walk didn’t know you had to walk thru it to get in the park I have never been there before.
Yes, City Walk is within walking distance. In fact if you park in the parking deck for Universal Orlando, you will walk through CW on your way to the 2 parks.
Magarittavile is our favorite restaurant in CW. Latin Quarter we really enjoy ordering from the quick service window and sitting outside.
I am going to Los Angeles in January and want to take an organised tour as i will not have a car. Does anybody know of any good ones? I have been three times before, but my boyfriend has never been so we want to see all the touristy stuff: Hollywood sign, Universal studios, Chinese theatre, walk of fame, hollywood bowl.

I know there are good tours out in Los Angeles cause i took one when i went there. Just go to the hotel desk where you are staying at and im sure they will have some that you could choose from. The one that i took was good, we went through hollywood and saw some famous peoples houses. We also went to Rodeo Drive and Downtown LA. Our tour let us get off the bus and walk around for lik 30 minutes at each stop so that was pretty cool. Make sure you pick a tour bus that lets you get off so you can really see the sights of LA. Have fun.
If I was to walk from Ralphs, near Universal City to the main stores in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard, the Gap, Urban Outfitters, etc.

It’s fine. I’d let my teen walk it. Just watch for cars when you’re crossing streets. = )

Can anyone tell me how much the food costs at Pinz bowling center in studio city, ca?? and also how do i pay for lanes …..should i reserve before going or am i fine walking in and getting a lane ?
It’s one of the nicest bowling alleys I have been to. The lane with shoes on a weekday is only like ten bucks, and the drinks are moderately priced. On weekdns they are really busy but don’t take reservations, so you’d have to wait, usually anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours.
where going in the middle of june around the 14, how crowded is it at this time, also what are some of the good rides and how old do you have to be to go to city walk
I’ll warn you now, it is very hot around that time of year and very crowded since people go on vacation during the summer alot. But, if you stay in at the Royal Pacific hotel, the Portofino hotel, or the Hard Rock hotel, you can automatically bypass the huge lines for rides with your room key

A museum – seriously, give it a try!
The best for a young teen is to find a place near one of your friend’s homes, so you hang out at the home for awhile, then walk/bus over to the place, even if it’s just a frozen yogurt shop.
But please be careful and make sure your parent knows where you are. Some awful things happened to girls who ditched school to hang out a mall. They met some guys and went with them, something that really was outside of their usual behavior. It ended very badly.

how does this itinerary look for 10 days in SoCal? my gf and I are 30 and want to see as much as we can while we are there. we are considering skipping Disneyland. We are going LA just for Magic Mountain and not sure what we should do for the other days. most of these ideas came from this place Y.A. and just need help with any rearranging. feel free to cut and paste what I have. you can delete what is there and replace it with something cooler or let me know if too much is packed into one day. also if something should be done on a weekday vs. a weekend feel free to switch things around.

I’m going assume you mean check out of Santa Monica Tuesday – on your way to San Diego. Your first Saturday is over crowded, after a 100 mile each way trip to Santa Barbara Friday. I would switch Venice Beach to Sunday, since there isn’t that much at Griffith Park.
The rest is very ambitious. You don’t give yourself any rest time. Personally, I would skip San Diego Old Town in favor of Sea World, but you know what you like.
Cheap hotel in San Diego – not likely. Try the Good Night Inn at Sea World, or Beach Cottages
My gf and I are headed to Magic Mountain and wondering what more is there to do in LA. I think we have one more free day. We have been to Disneyland already. Below I wrote out our plan of events, if something doesn’t sound right it is my poor planning so let me know what should change.
Here is what the plan is so far:
Day 1: Magic Mountain
Day 2: Farmer’s Market, Hollywood & Highland
Day 3: Tour Santa Monica, rent bike at the beach and ride to Venice Beach. At night time, head to Griffith Observatory
Day 4: Univ Studios and City Walk
Day 5: Getty Center (not sure if this is a full day thing…)
Day 6 ?
I don’t know if you’re outdoorsy, but on day 6 you could go hiking in Malibu canyon, and then go eat seafood and drink beers at Froggy’s in Topanga Canyon (doesn’t open until 5 I think, also note it can be a little hard to find since it’s nestled in the middle of the canyon)
We’re dropping off my little sister at the Universal Studios in Hollywood for halloween horror night and my girlfriend is too scared to go, so we’re going to hang out in the area and wait until my sister gets off.
What is there to do at city walk or in that area at night?
I know there is a movie theatre and there are places to eat, but is there anything else?

excluding magic mountain and universal studios (maybe city walk but im trying to avoid amusement parks like disney land and such)
