Where can I physically go and get Universal Studios discount?

Posted by admin on March 6th, 2010 and filed under universal studios discount tickets | 4 Comments »

I was planning to go to universal studios this weekend and realized the tickets are like 70 dollars! So I was wondering if there were any stores or companies that offer coupons that will give me a discount to Universal Studios
————-example) those coupons for Knott’s Berry Farm that they give at Baskin Robins——————-
THANK YOU TAHNK YOU THANK YOU! <3

Premier theme parks such as Disney and Universal don’t do discounts like local parks, where you can just pick them up at the grocery store or something. The best discounts for Universal are on their website.

Going to Universal Studios Orlando and I heard that they offer 1/2 price after 2pm.I cant find it anywhere?

best place to buy discount tickets to disney world and universal studios?

Posted by admin on January 24th, 2010 and filed under universal studios discount tickets | 5 Comments »

Trying to plan our family vacation and i’m wanting to know the best place to get discounted tickets to these places. Thanks

For Universal, if you buy a multi-day pass (two days or more) from their website you get $10.00 off gate price:

Disney World doesn’t offer any discounts on their tickets. The best thing to do is purchase them online from the Disney World website and save yourself the 30+ minutes of waiting to purchase tickets at the gate:

If you are a member of Triple A you can get a small discount on park tickets. As far as taking advantage of roadside "discount" ticket booths and/or hotel discounts, do be careful. Not all of the ticket outlets have a good deal, and all of the hotels I have checked out actually sell their tickets for MORE than gate price because they add in their own convenience fees. I personally always purchase all of my park tickets online before my trip.

But you can buy before hand online at www.universalstudioshollywood.com and there are discounts availible for certian nights.

Attraction tickets?

Posted by admin on November 4th, 2009 and filed under universal studios discount tickets | 4 Comments »

Does anyone know where I can find discounted disney/universal studio tickets

To be on the safe side, you should always get your tickets directly through the company or from your travel agent. When you buy from other companies, you never know what you are getting and usually the savings aren’t good enough to take the risk. Universal often runs really good discounts right on their website, for example 7 days worth of admission for the price of one, etc. So always check on their site for tickets to Universal. As far as Disney, they offer savings when you buy a longer pass and the price per day averages down, there is also some savings for buying in advance.

Here is my answer to another question about buying tickets. The same pretty much applies to buying any attraction ticket.

Hope this helps!

I strongly recommend going directly with Disney or your travel agent to get the ticktes, for several reason.

1). Disney tickets now expire 14 days after the first use, this means that, unless the no-expiration option is added on, the tickets will be no good several weeks or years down the road, but for the next 14 days. Most people don’t purchase the no-expiration option, but people will still sell the tickets online that they have used, so you are basically buying an empty ticket.

2). Even if you are getting a ticket that still has days left on it, the tickets are non-transferable. Once you use your ticket the first time, you scan your fingers into a biometrics system so that only you can use that ticket. If you go to the park and use someone elses ticket, you will have to proove that you actually are the person on the ticket, or you will have to buy a new ticket.

3). Aside from the tickets just being a scam and you getting nothing for the money you spend, a lot of what you will find online is going to be a timeshare deal. Basically, you sit through a presentation, usually several hours long, and they will either give you free tickets or a lower rate, or something like that. This is not something I really suggest doing, but if you don’t mind it, then it is a good way to get some free tickets.

When you are in Orlando, if you wait to buy your tickets, there will still be a lot of places advertising lower cost tickets. Most of these will be scams or the timeshare deal.

If you buy your tickets from Disney, or a TA, you will get an advance purchase savings. It isn’t a huge savings, but it is something. The longer your pass is, the lower your cost is per day, and you can get them for around $30, plus any add ons you do. So, Disney does offer some pretty good rates for tickets.

Finally, AAA would be another option. I believe you have to do a 2 or 3 day pass before they offer any savings, however. If you are not a member, make sure you check how much you would actually save and what the cost of membership is. The savings may not be good enough to buy the membership and still save.

Personally, I always book a package with Disney, just so I can ge the dining plan. I go to Disney enough that I could get an AP and be done with it, but I like the dining plan so much I just buy my tickets each time (even though I could have my AP and just buy a one day base to get the dining) So, if you will be staying onsite, look into doing a package. The dining plan can save you 40% off of your food, it is a really great deal and you get a lot of food.
