Opportunity of a lifetime?

So I go to this Modeling/Acting/Talent Management academy thingy. (It’s not a scam!)
And there’s this fieldtrip to Hollywood where we get to meet top agents and go to auditions and all these cool stuff ; But I feel like it’s nothing. Is this really an opportunity of a lifetime? Here’s the info I got from the site of the academy:

______ will personally host your trip and be your tour giude! Kevin Green of Rollover Hollywood (a casting service) will be your co-host.
"Send-Off Night"- Thursday March 25th, 2010 @ 7pm at ____ Academy
Hospitality Welcome @ 8:00pm Wednesday March 31st, 2010 at the Hotel in LA
Two Nights stay at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel (Double Occupancy: King, 2 Queens, or Suites available for additional fee
Transportation to and from agencies and auditions
A panel of 5 agents and casting directors will personally interview and/or audition you, talk about your career goals, portfolio, resume, etc. This includes the castin agency of Michael Jackson’s "This Is It", and the TV hit series "Glee"!
Tour of Telemundo TV Broadcasting Studios!
Tour of an L.A. agency and personal career seminar by Carol Lynn Sher, Agent. Cunningham-Escott-Slevin-Deoherty (aka CESD) will be the agency visited. This is the agency for Miley Cyrus, Jonathan Lipinski, James Garner, Mae Whitmen… and zillions of clients such as Disney, Pacific Sunwear, California Cheese, Olympus, Mattel and Sony!
Tour of K.S.R. top L.A. agency and personal career presentations by agents Jody Alexander and Bonnie Ventis. Auditions conducted in agency’s voice-over booth and there will be personal coaching by the agent!
Optional tours of the Hollywood Museum, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios and its City Walk, NBC studios (or similar studio), and a visit to the set of a live TV show filming!
*************

So that’s all the info. Should I go? The trip is pretty pricey but nothing I can’t handle.

Definitely not. Why would you waste your money? They get kickbacks and you won’t get cast. They don’t pick you up that way. Pay to go meet folks, so ridiculous. Taking advantage of starry eyes.

Its just name dropping bull… Go visit a live set, go tour an agency. Such a fake scam..
