The Grove / Farmer’s Market
Melrose Ave. shopping
Venice Board Walk
Santa Monica Pier, Beach and 3rd St Promenade
A large shopping mall near you – Galleria, Americana, Santa Anita, Beverly Center, Promenade, Century City, etc.
IKEA – plan for future apt
Bowling is fun (funny) even if you don’t know how.
A museum – seriously, give it a try!
The best for a young teen is to find a place near one of your friend’s homes, so you hang out at the home for awhile, then walk/bus over to the place, even if it’s just a frozen yogurt shop.
But please be careful and make sure your parent knows where you are. Some awful things happened to girls who ditched school to hang out a mall. They met some guys and went with them, something that really was outside of their usual behavior. It ended very badly.

beach towns…santa monica, venice, hermosa. and in orange county thier is seal beach on the boarder of LA county and Orange county. seal beach has a small and charming mainstreet with plenty of young people.
