What’s a good decent area around Studio city in Los Angeles?

I’d like to know because I’m moving, also please include the prices a month if you know?

Glendale isn’t bad.

    sherman oaks, toluca lake (there is no lake ) Burbank away from the flight path, studio city is ok too. encino, Laurel Cyn. these areas aint cheap and we’re talking major coin. you have to choose the area you want for shopping convenience, traffic, easy access to freeways quietness crime etc etc.. you payzzz youzzzz money, youzzzz takezzz youzzzz pick !

    Sorry to inform the person below There is no lake in toluca lake. A golf course water hazard is deeper.

    Studio City itself is fine. One other comment — of course there is a lake in Toluca Lake, just look at any map! The other parts of that answer give you good advice. I would stay away from North Hollywood.

    Generally in that area, you want to go south and east or southwest, but less to the north.

    Toluca Lake is very nice, but to live anywhere around here is very expensive. Expect to pay at least $1500 a month for a 1 bedroom in those areas.

    Also, Toluca Lake does have a lake. It’s near Clybourn Ave. and W Lakeside Dr.
