Universal Studios Theme Parks?

There are two theme paks at Universal Studios. There’s Universal Studios Florida and Universals Islands of Adventure. Which theme park would you take a 2 and 4 year old? Whick one would they have more fun at?

A lot of the big rides with height restrictions are at Islands of Adventure. There won’t be much they can do. The Dr. Seuss area is very, very cute, but it also would not take up much of your day.

At Universal Studios there are several live shows that your kids could do. Especially there is one with real animals called Animal Actors on Location on also A Day In The Park With Barney show. Additionally, there is an area called Woody Woodpecker’s Kid Zone, where they could do everything. And there are a few other rides outside the Zone that they could ride, also. I think there would be more for them to do at Universal Studios.

    - ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE has Seuss Landing with lots of rides. It also has the Pteranodon Flyers in the Jurassic Park section which also has the Jurassic Park Discovery Centre (with interactive exhibits and displays) and Camp Jurassic (a themed play area).

In regards to shows: "at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad is a pulse-pounding, swashbuckling stunt spectacular for the young and the young-at-heart. In the mood for something a little more mysterious? Oh the Stories You Will Hear… is a show that brings the tales of Dr. Seuss to life. Plus all ages will enjoy exploring Poseidon’s Fury and journeying to the oceans’ depths to witness a watery battle between towering titans."

They also have a talking fountain and a chance to meet the Spiderman characters.

    - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS has Shrek 4-D, Jimmy Neutrons Nicktoon Blast, the E.T. Adventure, Woody Woodpeckers Nuthouse Roller Coaster and Curious George Goes To Town (a play area), there’s also another playground there.

In regard to shows: "At Universal Studios, A Day in the Park with Barney™ gives the little ones a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite singing purple dinosaur, Barney– with Baby Bop and B.J. on hand, too. At Animal Actors on Location! our internationally famous four-legged stars can’t wait to perform, entertain and delight."

    - So both parks have a lot to offer, they equally have as much to do, it literally depends more on what your kids are interested in/what they’d want to see. You could do BOTH parks for an extra $30 per ticket. This allows you to switch between the parks as many times as you want within the same day. This works out quite well as the parks are located really close to each other (a 5/10 minute walk apart). Have a look at the links below to read a bit more about what’s offered for kids at both parks.

Hope all of this has helped you!
