I think this is a bit too expensive cause the price is way higher than other attractions in Singapore, since this is in Singapore, its should be compared to other Singapore Attractions instead of overseas ones. I think if there is not like others like Disneyland in Japan or USA, than the price is not worth it, at least it must be as fun as Japan's or Australia's is compared to Universal Studio if really want to compare to overseas.
References :
I think it toooo expensive..should not compared to other major theme park as their living standard is different..children pricing is also too high, assuming the children age limit is 12, they will most likely not be able to play those more dangerous ride, taking merry go round and bumper car...yet end up paying $48 for it..
Moreover...parents will usually take children to the theme park on weekend, as they need to study and parents need to work, unless during School holidays..not doubt the additional is minimum but it still ex...Whether one can finish all the rides depends on the crowd on that day itself...one may not get much rides...was in tokyo..some of the rides took 1.5 to 2 hours to queue..moreover, i see that may take 2 day to fully explore the theme park...can you imagine during weekends...how many kids or adults will be disappointed as they have to queue...the staff will ask you to come back tomorrow...then you will need to pay again...

To charge another $30-$68 to get express pass on top of the normal charge...better income family to have priority and the average family to queue..that sucks..i do hope there should be 2 pricing, for tourist and Singaporeans..for tourist will comes once or twice,...but Singaporeans might be able to come back quarterly if the cost is not expensive..
References :
My own views.

Targeting Singaporeans?
Please, this whole Integrated Resort Idea was conceived because of the sole reason of further boosting tourism.
We have no natural wonders or brilliant architecture in this country.

Due to the financial crisis, Resorts World has to tell us this as tourism is down. Once the economy is booming again, I do expect raised prices as we all know that this resort is not meant for us.
References :
They claim that they want to reach out to everyone even the grandpas and grandmas. Just a brief calculation for a family of 6 (parents, 2 children and grandparents), the cost of the tickets is close to $300 per family not including any meals or miscellaneous expenditure. The total cost of going to this theme park can amount to almost $400. I think there are still many families out there that cannot afford this amount.
References :
I think they should have specials for Singaporeans. So far I don't see any specials for Singaporeans for all the tourist attractions, like zoo, night safari, so it doesn't entice us to go. And maybe if they have specials for family packages will be good. I think the prices are a bit high for low income earners
References :
Its stupidly expensive...just to take my 1 daughter there I have to pay, what, S$104 bucks? That's insane! Add food and refreshment and you are looking at $150-$200 for a day out for one adult and 1 kid! I complain at Wild Wild Wet and Zoo prices! Anyone who thinks these prices are ok, clearly makes more money than me! lol

I will say that it is no more or less expensive than other theme parks worldwide, on average, but if someone could tell me why its OK for local attractions to be expensive just because others are overseas, then I would be grateful cos I don't get it. Expensive is expensive, end of. And as for Universal trying to make it sound like a bargain...are they having a laugh?

I don't agree on two prices - one for Singaporeans and one for tourists. Would those people who suggested that be happy if they were charged more than Australians on the Gold Coast? "Oh, why am I paying more?" "Cos you're not Australian"....what?!

Expensive world we live in. Justifying it by comparing it to other ridiculously overpriced attractions like the Flyer or Disneyland is madness..."Oh, well, that's progress. Pass me another $10 sandwich, please."

My personal opinion is that the tickets prices are affordable & reasonably priced even to the average income family - it isn't steep .
References :
I think Universal Studio Singapore WONT NOT be as large as Universal Studio Osaka/ Orlando, and one day in US (Osaka) was not enough for me to play and walk around!! 66 bucks for a day's ticket in US(Singapore), i guess would be a little too costly, if i could finish all the rides and finish walking within a day, without any queues
References :
Seriously its too damn EXPENSIVE to spend this kind of money in my own backyard!!! I would rather go overseas for a family holiday. With budget air tickets and hotels at such low prices, we could already afford a 3D2N family trip to Phuket, Langkawi or Redang for the same price! There is no reason we should settle for man-made island Sentosa??

Furthermore $118 per person doesn't bring you there. There is still an admission fee to pay to enter Sentosa. Assuming you buy the $118 ticket for 2-day admission, you have to pay 2X admission fees to Sentosa as well!!!!!!!

The people behind Universal Studios must be day-dreaming in their own world to charge such exorbitant prices. However the reality is that Singaporeans being so well-travelled are not stupid.
