The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park

Plunge down the dark freight elevator shaft of the once glamorous Hollywood Tower Hotel in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a thrill ride at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

Ah, but this is no ordinary hotel. Its phantom elevator is located beyond the fifth dimension, the one that crosses over into The Twilight Zone.

The Legend:
Classic stars of the silver screen sought rest and relaxation at the grand Hollywood Tower Hotel during the Golden Age of Hollywood. In 1939, during a gloomy Halloween night, 5 unlucky souls were riding down the Hotel’s maintenance service elevator when a violent storm struck the building and they were never seen again. Black scorch marks still scar The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror facade where lightning left its autograph.

The Elevator:
A ride on the “fright elevator” beyond the eerie boiler room in the hotel basement could be down, then up, or maybe down again, or up and up—every experience is different and randomly selected by the Tower itself. There’s no way of knowing which direction you’ll go on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Step aboard, if you dare. You’re about to discover what lies beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination.

Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park

Posted by admin on August 7th, 2009 and filed under studios theme park | 4 Comments »

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! is a live show in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park that recreates many of the memorable scenes from Raider’s of the Lost Ark—and reveals the secrets behind the stunts and special effects.

The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! show opens against a temple ruins backdrop. Indiana Jones makes his grand entrance and the show swings into non-stop, nail-biting action.

While Indy goes in search of the golden idol, he is chased by a 12-foot rolling boulder, encounters numerous perils, makes daring escapes—and quite a few things explode into flames and come crashing down all around him. One large-scale stunt sequence features a motorcycle and a mammoth Flying Wing aircraft.

The edge-of-your-seat suspense in the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! show comes to a climax in an explosive finale with pyrotechnics so intense you can feel the heat from the seats near the front of the stage.

Jurassic Park The Ride Universal Studios Hollywood LA

Posted by admin on July 29th, 2009 and filed under studios | 25 Comments »

Here is A full video ride through of Jurassic Park The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. I even have A shot of the t-rex at the end. This was taken from the front seat. There are no heads in the video. There is A little bit of talking in this video by some guy siting next to me. Oh well, I filmed this 2 times, Jan & May in 2002. I edited this clip in Sept 2006, 1 fun fact : To film this ride with A video camera I went to the gift shop next to the ride and got 2 plastic store bags. I wraped them around the camera with rubber bands. Then I ripped A small hole in the bags for the camera lens. This is the cheap way to film on water rides. Enjoy the clip !
